We Take Special Education Seriously

Picture
Community Advisory Committee for Special Education (CAC-SE) is a state mandated committee representing school district areas in each SELPA (Special Education Local Plan Area). Each CAC-SE has their our own priorities reflecting their district or districts needs.  The strength of our advisement on Special Education to the district is directly related to our community involved with the CAC-SE.
Please explore our site to learn more about who we are and what we are up to.

I solemnly swear we are up to a lot of good!

We don't dis disability

We believe every child can reach their potential with all the right supports.
That was the purpose of IDEA.
We believe that the intention of IDEA has yet to be matched by  the public school system nationally.
But if we voice what that could be to the ears of our district and state representatives, we just may achieve what was intended..
Please add your voice to ours.
We will get there faster.
